                                        Directions

From Philadelphia, PA:  From PA Turnpike Northeast Extension (476) get off at exit 36 Wilkes-Barre/Bear Creek Route 115. After toll, go left at stop sign onto Route 115 North . Follow 115 down the mountain until it connects with Route 309 North. (You will pass the Interchange for Interstate 81 north and south – stay straight, then you will be on 309.) Follow below directions from Route 309.

From Harrisburg, PA:  Take Interstate 81 North to Exit 170B Wilkes-Barre/Bear Creek Route 309. Exit will feed you out onto Route 309 North, follow directions below from Route 309.

From New York City:  Take Interstate 80 West to Lake Harmony/PA Turnpike (476) exit. Get on turnpike, go 11 miles to Exit 36 for Wilkes-Barre/Bear Creek. Take a left after toll and follow 115 North until it merges with 309 North. Follow directions from Route 309 below.

From Route 309:
Continue straight, middle or left lane and follow the signs to the Back Mountain. (It is about 13 miles to the farm from I-81 Interchange)Pass Wilkes-Barre exits, cross river and follow signs for 309 Dallas.

After the exit for Luzerne the expressway ends and road becomes a four lane with traffic lights. Keep going through 7 lights.
At the 8th traffic light you will see a Friendly’s Restaurant and Route 309 veers to the right. Veer right here and go up the hill to the light at M&T Bank/Dallas High School. From here it is five miles to the farm. Go straight through this light and continue on.
You will pass the Beaumont Inn on the right. Two miles after this see Smith’s Country store on the left. Just after Smith’s (100 yards or so) you will turn left at Nulton Funeral Home.
Go exactly ½ mile up the hill, (on the left passing another horse farm with white fences, an old barn and a couple of houses then a wooded area) after this the dirt driveway to Strawberry Mountain Farm is on the left. Through the trees you will see the large new white barn buildings with green roofs and a small white farmhouse with green shutters and a green roof.
