competitive Adult Amateur rider, we make regular buying trips to Holland.
In addition, we have several horses available to see here at the farm.
Palermo
This lovely 4-year-old grey gelding was recently imported from Holland and just
started under saddle. His sire is Palfrenier and on the mare side, Contender,
giving him powerful movement and a great shoulder. He has three fantastic gaits
and a quiet, sweet personality. At 16 hands, he is a perfect amateur
Dressage horse for a small lady or a junior rider, but talented enough for a
professional. He is uncomplicated, never spooky and has a wonderful work ethic.
He shows all the potential to be a future FEI horse, and with his great
temperament he is very trainable and will quickly move up the levels. With
correct work over the next six months, he can easily excel in the FEI 5-year-old
classes next summer.
Flambo
This 10-year-old Chestnut Trakhener gelding (Preuzenprynz x Karon) is a super
Adult Amateur lady or Young Rider horse. At 16.1 hands he is not intimidating
and super calm. He has competed successfully at 4th Level and is schooling the
Prix Saint George. Reasonably priced, this easy yet elegant horse with three
correct gaits is ready to take his next owner up through the levels.
Mondeo
This 17 hand 10-year-old bay gelding has excellent bloodlines and the gaits to
show it, having been bred from the fabulous stallion Grand Cru and on the mare
side, Proloog. He has competed in Holland at 4th Level and is ready to do the
Prix Saint George. Currently he is schooling all Grand Prix movements, piaffe
and passage and the one tempis and with a 10 plus character, is forgiving and
easy enough to teach an amateur.
Uno
This fabulously talented young horse will take your breath away. A 4-year-old
stallion (Olivi x Neoitgedacht) this young horse is super talented, with a
spectacular trot already showing fantastic extensions and a canter that is
powerful, yet light and balanced. His temperament is super calm and willing and
with his superb manners, one would never believe he is a stallion! At 17 hands
he is well started and ready for Training Level. He is also a good candidate to
excel at the FEI 5-year-old tests and he shows all the potential to be a future
Grand Prix star in the International show ring.
Utah
This 4-year-old chestnut mare has fabulous breeding and shows all the talent
from her sire, Jazz (mare sire is Catherston.) At 16 hands, she is small, light
and well balanced in all the gaits and very easy to ride. She has all the talent
to move up the levels quickly and is quiet enough for an amateur, yet fancy
enough for a professional.
Katukas
This 5-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding is ready for Florida and eligible for
pre-green. He has been competing at Modified and Beginner Hunter all summer with
many ribbons, mostly blue. He was Champion at the Devon Classic and Reserve
Champion at Char Saddlery. He is an extremely talented jumper, schooling
3'9" at home and showing tremendous ability with bigger fences. His changes
are automatic. He has won several Equitation Classes with a tiny 15-year-old
rider and his quiet, forgiving temperament speaks for itself. At 17 hands, he is
tall and elegant, easy and quiet, and a pretty enough mover on the flat, but
great with his knees over jumps. He has excellent bloodlines (Mr. Wizard) and is
a superb Equitation prospect or Hunter for an Adult Amateur or Junior. He is
quiet, willing and ready to move on. One would never believe he is so young.
This is truly a wonderful horse with a winning attitude.
